first freshwater tank

So I've decided to build my self a fw tank won't be anywhere the size of my salt water, but I wouldn't have to room to 2 6 foot tanks.
So I ended up getting a 37 gallon tall kit that will be going in my room, not sure what I will do for live stock but I was thinking of getting a lot a neon tetra
Will post some pics when I get water in the tank

Don't have to proper lighting for plants I have 2 oh the led light that come with the marineland Kits and don't really wanna spend money on lighting  cause I don't know how I'll like fw set up if there are any plant that can grow under those lights let me know cause I would be game to do that
