T5 flickering

My light just started flickering. do I need a new bulb or fixture? The bulb only flicker on for a sec and goes off.

Could be a bulb or ballast.  Bulb is cheaper to test first.

What is the specs on the fixture? - 2x24? or 2x54?

It was the bulb. It's a 4pin T5. 60 freaken bucks.

It says 65w compact florescent. It is a straight 4 pin. I didn't know there was a difference.
