Hi everyone,

I have finally joined your forum.
It was good to meet some of you again this past weekend in Ajax.
I have meet a few of you at past CAOAC conventions as well.

I restarted my tropical fish hobby around 2002 when I joined the Kitchener-Waterloo Aquarium Society.
Before that, I was quite busy with my 3 children.
I began in the hobby in the late 1960's but kind of got out of it when cars and girls grabbed my attention in high school.

I currently have 9 aquariums, a 100, three 50's, a 30, a 25, two 20's and my original 5 gallon metaframe tank that houses a crayfish  :)

I keep South American Geophagus, Angels, Tetras and a variety of dwarf plecos.
I also keep African Rift Lake cichlids, Rainbows, Swordtails and Barbs.
My favourite fish are Loaches, I have about 12 different species  :D

One of my other hobbies is photography, which I have combined with fish keeping  ;)

Welcome Zenin!
Great to see you on our forum!

Just so everybody can make the connection - a number of Zenin's photos were used in this September's newsletter (CAOAC article) and I've also featured one of his original articles on the January newsletter (fixing a tank). Zenin is a real dedicated KWAS member, an experienced aquarist and pretty good fish photographer!
SHARE YOUR PASSION FOR THE HOBBY!

Welcome on board fellow fish geek. I believe I have seen you snapping pictures at various fish events, including CAOAC and at least the past two OCA Extras. It's always fun to combine two hobbies. I find joy in that as well! :)

Welcome to OVAS Zenins! I'm also a big fan of Loaches, particularly Dojo Loaches (Although I'm not keeping any, but a good friend is). I'm sure we'd all love to see some more of your photos :)

Nice to hear from others in different cities. We will be heading to London in May 26 weekend, do you know
good place to visit (fish minded) .  Will have time on our hands to visit other fish breeders or good fish stores.

In London the two stores to see are the Big Al's (on commissioners now I believe) and Pet Paradise on Adelaide at Huron. Say hi to everyone for me!
