way back in the old days, we had a page on ovas.ca that had dimensions for the most common fish tank sizes.
I used that page a lot and wonder where it went. Last time I needed the info, I had to use http://albertaaquatica.com/index.php?showtopic=33614

Should we restore that info somewhere?

Yes I think we should, I miss that page as well, it was very useful.

If you have a marineland tank this link is really useful. It's on their website...http://www.marineland.com/Products/Glass-Aquariums/~/media/3C6722AFB0654DF18473C2CFEA649D9F.ashx. It has all the info I need, and for the irregular sizes I use anyone of the online aquarium volume calculators.

X2 , i miss it too, it went MIA sometime late last year or early this year.

I use the online calculators as well but if anyone is interested in knowing.  There are 231 cubic inches in a gallon so you can manually calculate a tank size using this formula (L x W x H) / 231, using the inside dimensions and assuming it's rectangular or square.

x3, that's how I found out about OVAS...trying to figure out the size of the tank I was going to buy to get back into the hobby 6 years ago.
