Short Valesneria plants

What are the species of short vals?  I have Valesneria nana...I think...and I would love to find a species that doesn't require a "haircut" in my 12" tall tank when it grows too tall.

Has anyone seen any of the short varieties around town?

What lights will you be /are using on this tank.

48" T5.  One is the 10,000K and the other is a 6700K. I can't remember the wattage but it says 120V on both bulbs.
