unknown plants

I went to Big Al's yesterday and bought a couple of really nice aquatic plants, but am unsure of what they really are.  I have looked at pretty much all aquatic plants and can not find what they are.  Can someone please tell me what it is and what kind of lighting they need.

Looks to me that they may be more marginal plants then aquatic ones

I'm almost certain the plant with the purple undersides is marginal....

And I believe the plant in the center (verigated) may be a cardinal plant.

Because they can survive submerged they are sold as aquatic plants...they are NOT aquatic plants.

I recently got nailed as well, buying a non aquatic plant .
I thought I was buying lovely, healthy swords, in fact they were
Peace lily plantlets. They lasted for a few weeks and then a melted.

My bad...the verigated plant is fittonia.  A terrarium plant.sorry man

Just taking a closer look at your pics, and noticed it looks like
the clay or sponge whichimacallit is still around the base of your
plants?
If so you should remove them and replant your plants, it'll allow
the plants' roots to spread and won't strangle them.
