CO2 starts when first light (54w) fixture comes on for 12 hours. The CO2 is controled from other aquarium stand by a 3 way manifold and bubble counter. An hour later the 2nd fixture (108w) comes on for 10 hours. The 104w fixture and CO2 shuts off one hour before the other fixture. Both light fixtures are controlled by timers from this stand.

Under heavy rooted plants I use Flourish Root Tabs every few months. I dose once maybe twice a week with Flourish Comprehensive and dry trace ferts.

Fertilization: NPK & Traces as per EI method as needed (not on a regular basis)

This is my first planted tank attempt.  Much to learn still, CO2 reactor works well, with 30 micron filter to force CO2 bulbs to diffuse before entering the tank.  powerhead chops up bubbles and injects into the chamber at 200GPH

Lighting : 4 x 54 watt T5HO only 2 bulbs used now 8 hours a day.
Filters: Fluval 304
Substrate :Eco-complete
CO2 : Pressurized injected with PH controller and DIY re-actor setup using Maxijet 1100 for circutlation
Fertilization : EI dry ferts

Livestock: non yet

Plants:
HC
Cryptocoryne
Blyxa japonica
Ludwigia Inclinata Var Verticillata "Cuba"
Ludwigia repens 'Rubin'
Cabomba caroliniana

Wow nice start, it should be awesome when the plants grow in, thanks for sharing.
One question, in the last picture where you show your co2 set up - is that the PH probe from the controller sitting in the bottle?

ajm1961

I'm totally impressed with these set-ups - especially with Dan, Jart, and Leng's pics!
Just gorgeous! Makes me want to start planting!
(my cichlids would eat most of them though...  ;D)

yes but that was a pic of the equipment before the tank was setup. The top pic shows the probe in the tank.
