Where does everybody place their power bars?  I use to attach them to the back of the stand using double sided tape but it seems like an electrical hazard if my tanks ever leaked. So now they are above the tanks but it's an eyesore even though it's in unfinished basement.

TIA.

I screw mine to the underside of the stand top. This creates a drip loop preventing any water from getting to the sockets. When I had a metal stand I silicone the bar the underside of the tank itself. Works great.

I use 3, all mounted against the back wall of my cabinet, at the very top so that all the wires create drip loops.

My main feed is a GFCI power bar with 4 outlets, to which I connect two power strips with timers.

I use two separate timers for the lights and CO2 solenoid.

Having drip loops on your wires is a must.
Never, ever, rest you power bars on the floor where they can collect water.
Always use a GFCI outlet and/or power strip for your aquarium equipment.
