Hmm interested but different sites state different things with regards to water parameters. One source says hard water another says soft: http://www.tfhmagazine.com/freshwater/feature-articles/a-panda-of-a-different-nature-full-article.htm . Anyone with more concrete info?

From what I know with talking to people who had kept them is that they can live in soft or hard. Most of them keep in shrimp tank where it is soft. Since they are shrimplet safe.
