In the next day, or two, OVAS will announce a new sub-forum in the Saltwater section dedicated to a new "resident expert" to help people out with beginner to advanced questions.  If you visit some of the other forums on the internet you may have seen the "Ask _____ _____" type forums, so you may already be familiar with the concept and maybe even the expert in question (he's written several well respected books and has almost 15,000 topics on his board!).

OVAS is committed to bringing more content, that's relevant to the online community, to the Saltwater boards and this is a first step in some new things we're planning for this year.

I hope you're all as excited as we are!

One person for now, but if there is interest in other parts of the hobby we'll try to find more experts to bring on board.
