Its normal.. it must be the internal filter thats making those bubbles. Or if you have cleaned it recently, its air bubbles that are trapped in the filter, releasing.

How new is the set-up. Is there any way to stop the aeration on the filter.

The venturi is removable. The tube leading into the top, where it sucks air into the unit, is optional.

Yes its removavble but what im trying to figure out is why do i have so much microscopic bubbles,

sanny

Remove the airline tube. The internal pump is already making a lot of aeration, which is a good amount for your tank.

You have micro bubbles because of the venturi. That's what I'm trying to say. Remove it and they should go away.
