Salt

 Afternoon,,

I am ion the process of selling my Nano salt water aquarium...cond. sold..  and the interested buyer was asking if I would teardown and reassemble at their home locally here in Ottawa.

Are their professionals that would do this and at what cost, or would anyone have a suggestion on what would be a fair price to charge?

Any suggestions would be helpful, thank you

If its not already done I would

get a couple buckets (clean) put the tank water in them then the livestock in 1 and the live rock in the other. once the water (or most of it) is removed from the tank the transportation of the nano will be easier.

when setting back up put the livestock in bags then put the liverock back in the tank.

Put the original water back in as carefully as possible try not to disturb the bed (I know its impossible not to disturb it but pouring the water slowly over the live rock should minimize it).

Float the bags of live stock no need to acclimate other than temp as the water is the same. The water will start of cloudy from the disturbed bed but it should clear up fairly quickly.

I did this when I moved my 125 into a wall from its original and did not lose any live stock.

Hope this helps
