Renewal of classified ads

At present when a classified is expired it is automatically removed & a notice sent to inform the seller it expired & was removed.
Is it complicated to offer an advance notice of upcoming expiration with a link to auto re-list, as is done on some forums?

I looked at the settings and there does not appear to be any such option in the current version of the classified software.

Not saying its impossible just not easy or fast..
