Introduction

Hello,

My name is Katie. I've been a member for less than a year and only been in the hobby for about a year now. I've got multi-tank syndrome and watching them brings me great peace. They are a source of stress relief for me as well as being incredibly beautiful and interesting.

My main passion is parrots but I am a Jane-of-all-trades kind of gal so I've got my interests/toes dipped into all sorts of things. I have many hobbies and skillsets. I just love doing things that bring me, my animals and those around me joy. I love creating beautiful things and smiles on other's faces.

I have a petsitting business and have been loving it for 22+ years. I mainly focus on parrots but I also care for dogs, cats, reptiles, amphibians and fish. It's a passion not a job for me.

I love nature and animals so having planted tanks in my home has been wonderful. I even put together a tank for my niece and its been wonderful seeing it's progression over the past several months. She loves when there are new fry and shrimpletes. I have to admit, so do I. I just love watching nature doing it's thing and share the spoils with others.
