Anyone know where to buy it?

I'm thinking of spraying it on the outside bottom of some tanks.

Thanks
Jim

You can buy that anywhere.  I used to get it from home depot and crappy tire.  They call it "Texture Paint".

Used to paint my computer cases with it :)

Mettle

Any of your average stores will carry it. I've picked it up from Home Depot, Canadian Tire, Walmart and Michaels on different occassions.

Are you doing a substrate-less tank?

Jim

Sweet thanks.

I'm doing it because its less maitanence, costs less than gravle and i don't need gravle for what i want to use it for.

Be sure to post pics when you're done. :D

fishycanuck

Why would you use it at all?
I just don't get it....

Don't forget  you will be looking at it from the back .You won't get a textured look . You might want to test the paint first,  on  a piece of glass .

Jim

I'm not reallt looking for a textured look. I just thought it would look nicer then a bare bottom thats my reason.

Quatro

I've done it myself and the texture does come through nicely.  There's a pic in this post.
