Hey,

Just wondering if it can be put underwater?   The Hagen website says "Totally submersible" but the product says "Do not fill past this line".  Thanks

I believe the line has to do with CSA regulations.   CSA doesn't like to certify products that involve combining electricity and water, so as a regulation they require that products must have certain standards.  The product is fully submersible, just as all the heaters are, even though they also have the lines on them.  Hope that made sense!
