I just bought 6 dwarf keyhole cichlids.
Man, are they ever shy.
They have been hiding in the rocks ever since I put them in the tank.
They've only come out to eat.
Question:
Does anyone know the Latin name for these fish as I've been trying to find some information on them and haven't as of yet.

Keyhole cichlids is Cleithracara Maronii.  I'm not sure if there is a different name for the dwarf variety.

Thanks, Mike.

They look like the picture on your reply.

I typed the name on "Google" guess where it ends up in one of the sites?
Back here on this site.

BigDaddy

I have two very mature keyholes in my 75 gallon community

They are, by far, the dominant cichlids in the tank.  They push around my apistos and rams.  The big male has some really nice extensions on his dorsal and anal fins

Give 'em time and some dither fish, and they will start making more of an appearance
