Thats awesome How many gallons is it? I was thinking of doing something similiar. Do you access the tank through the back. Very awesome tank!

75gallons and my tank is accessable in furnace room!!

Thanks Marx  now I can tell my husband it can be done in the wall and look great.  Yet another job I have for him in the long list of about 100. Ha! Ha!

i still need to paint the molding.. and put the mirror back up in laundry room.. but its pretty much done..

Dont forget that when you put a tank behind a wall, that the stand should generally be higher than a tank in front of a wall.

Dont ask me why - its just esthetics, and I dont make up these rules :)

yeppers.. my stand is 36" high home made.. you could park a Mack truck on it.. lots of 2x4's and 1-1/2" desk top..  aswell its built into the wall..
