i ordered a 55gal but i think i received a 70gal tank. what do you think?

You could always take a tape measure or a ruler, and take the 3 measurements of the x, y, and z plane, (length, width, and height) then check out the tank calculator in the Articles/Info tab on the left of your screen under the on-line tools. This should dispel any doubts, it does the mathematics for you.

in the picture it looks like a tall 55gal but sometimes pictures can trick the eyes
