Ok. My husband convinced me we absolutely had to have guppies. So we have guppies. And of course, we have fry. I knew I should have stuck to my guns.

Here's what I've got:
10g cycled (finished cycle about a month ago - yes I'm new to this!)
5 glowlight tetras
1 albino cory
3 adult guppies (2 female, 1 male)
8 guppy fry - but the second female is due to drop her babies any day now.

The question is... what the heck am I to do with all this fry? I haven't exactly got top of the line adult guppies to start with, although I know the LFS only uses breeders for their guppy supply. Are there any stores that accept donations of guppy fry as feeder fish? Any ideas of what kind of fish I can add to my current mix who like the extra protein of guppy fry but won't harrass the rest of the community?

Any thoughts appreciated
Thanks!

I'm sure most pet stores in the area would be happy to accept guppies.  But i say give them to the hobbist above.  :D

I'm not so sure about that.  I went to talk to a LFS when trying to sell some of mine, and the fish guy there said they don't source guppies from more than one breeder because of the risk of "other" guppies being carriers to contagious diseases (despite not suffering the disease themselves)

P.S. - keep the glowlights or the guppies, but not both.  That tank is a little bit over stocked as is.  Too bad your tetras are glowlights... a bit on the smallish side.  If you had a larger type of tetra... they'd be dealing with your fry problem for you!
