Geriatric fish?

I have a very old discus- not sure about the age because I bought it through someone sort of indirectly (she wasnt well cared for), I've only had her about a year and half but I imagine shes pretty old.  Her colour is almost faded out, she's very slow, Im pretty sure she's blind, and her back isnt as straight as it used to be. Not sure how much time she has left, but I'm hoping she is enjoying her pasture. 

Anyone else with geriatric fish?

I had an old Pigeon Blood Discus perhaps 8 years old - passed on quietly just a few days ago ... He was eating until the day before - rather than lose it's colour it became very dark on almost 50 - 60 % of it's body. . From what I read this is normal for old Discus. All 12 other Discus are doing well.
