I agree...we should set up a relationship with them as a major factor in our hobby is the water! I don't see why they would have a problem with it. maybe we can call and get regular water updates too if they weren't able to send us an update on a regular basis.

I like this idea very much, I think Cookie has a friend that does the testing for the city, perhaps if someone has a contact, I wouldn't have to arrange something with a cold call.

It seems to me that Mila's tests show that the water pH stabilizes more or less after 10 minutes... I may just keep the water in the bucket for 10 minutes to drop a few pH points and then whatever else will happen will happen at a very slow, low level.  I don't think it would be necessary to keep it in a garbage can for days...
