Hi I have a 20gal aquarium in it I've just placed
9 zebra danios
5 gold barbs
3 playties
They seem too be so many fish in the tank but maybe its just the way they all zip along that makes it look like they are alot of fish in the tank not to mention they aren't full size yet. :-\
I wanted to get 4 small corys but I don't think I left any room for the guys in my small aquarium. Wish I had room for many more aquariums! :D

Some people like to keep a tank full of fish like we see in the holding tanks at retail stores. I suppose there is a great ornamental benefit to that and as long as you can keep the water clean and make sure the fish do not get stunted you are not doing anything wrong. But personly I like an aquarium that is somewhat of an ecosystem where plants, fish and invertebrates can exhibit natural behaviours and grow to their full potential.

I would have just the 5 barbs and maybe three corries as the absolute max in a 20 gal. Although at max size the barbs would get a bit big for my taste in a 20.  :)

I would agree with kennyman you have a very heavily stocked tank... I would get a bigger tank or sell off some of your inhabbitants
90 gallon/ 90 gallon sump all male show tank, 75g Accie, 75g masoni reef alonacara, yellow lab and trio of flame backs, 75 gal tawain reef, 75 gal bi500, red shoulder, blue regal,
40 gal breeder  F1 electric blue frierei, 25 gal sunshine peacock males awaiting females, 20 gallon trio albino pleco, 65gal neolamprongus Brachardi pulcher 2 30g fry grow out, 20g hatchery with 4 batches of eggs currently
Starting on a fish wall for breeding more coming soon!

I think you have a lot of fish, but I don't think it's too much.  I wouldn't get the cories though.

Since there is no chance of a bigger tank I guess I'll have to get rid of some of my fishes. :'(
When I bought them I was a bit excited but when i got home i thought Oh! Oh! to many fish in there. Sigh!
Yeah one of the big mistakes was buying the Barbs not knowing what they where. Upon coming home I found out how big they could get. Whoops!
