Male Female Platies?

How do I tell the differenc between the male and female platy. My only clue is that one is always chasing another so i figure it's the male doing the chasing

The females have a fan shaped anal fin, the males have more of a stick-like anal fin

Males have a very entertaining willy they stick out when challenging another male and  also when trying to use it for its intended purpose.

Male Platy:

(Note the anal fin looks like a spike facing his tail end)



Female Platy:

(note the triangular anal fin)




fyi most livebearers can be sexed like this.

Thanks I figure out I have one female and two males. I was right about it must be a male always chasing the mickey mouse platy. Though the other male shows no interest in either of the other two platies.
