Pleco???

The pleco in the big tank died today, for no apparent reason.
It seemed to be fine the last time I saw it this morning, but when I got back tonight it was floating on top with what looked like rigor had set in. All the other fish in the tank seem to be fine, discus and pencil fish.
I'm just wondering if it ate something that didn't agree with it.

How long did you have it.

Silly as it may sound, it might have run into the end of the tank, a not totally uncommon event with Plecos.
