clear spots of some leaves??

im not really sure what type of plant it is, i think its a type of sword but not sure..
anyway the proble is recently i have noticed they are developing some clear spot on the leave. The spots seem to be limited to where the leaves are at the surface but they have never been this bad. recently i have only done 1 different. I had to stop fertilizing to get a green hair algae bloom under control. any idea as to what this is from?

The problem is from not fertilizing.

Potassium deffeciency most likely.

Try adding your ferts again, but this time only a quarter to a half of what you had dosed before.

Ok thanks, i will start fertalizing again then and hopefully it should clear up.

RedBelly, how did it work out for you? I have the same plant with the same problem on selected leaves.
