for aquarium use what brand/type of silicone are people using? I checked HD on Innes the other day but they didn't have any clear silicone that was suitable for aquariums. Most hardware stores should carry it right? I've seen it a big Al's but it's much more expensive there.

Think they sell little suction cups? Hope so I'll check tonight when I swing by. So silicone 1 eh? I must have spent about 1/2 hour reading all the silicone labels on Friday night and everytime I'd find they say "Not suitable for aquariums". Then I found one and it was ivory or brown so that was out. Well I'll keep looking around till I find some. Thanks guys.

they do sell silicone I at home depot in clear for sure (i just picked up some) but where do they sell silicone I in black?

"Mastercraft Interior + Exterior Silicone" in a green tube.
But check the color, as it could be white and not transparent. Also available in black.

On the back is says "Ideal for aquarium repair (allow 2-5 days before filling aquarium)". Other versions say explicitly "not for aquarium use".

Great I'm going right by CTC so I'll pick some up there. Thanks.
