I have a 1 3/4"(4cm) Marsa snail. :) I feed the lad all sorts of vegies and stuff and algae tablets. How many algae tablets a day should I feed a fellow this size. ??? He is having some competition for the algae tablets from cories and especially the hillstream loaches. Right now I give the tank 1/2 an algae tablet.
So many fish, so many tanks and so little knowledge! :-\ :) ;)

If you see that the snail is spending time on the veggies, getting his fair share, then I wouldn't worry too much about the algae tablets.  Sometimes you have to hide the tablets where the others won't get at them... but I've had mixed results with that. >:(

I saw your danio post ;)
Lots of fish will pick at snails as they see their antenae as worms.  I kept danios with my brigs without incident, although I may have just been lucky.

Bravo, snails are much better for you than danios any day, danios are inherently evil, much like cats really, only wetter and no claws.
