Hi all!

I just wanted to post a "thank you" for all the advice and info people gave when we were having such trouble getting our tanks (or rather fish) to stabilize.

Our 'Discus' tank has been a happy place for almost 3 weeks now.  All the Discus appear to have found their 'space' - they all snuggle down together a night (literally all sleeping in a group) and no one's being picked on anymore.  We made a few moves (such as removing the neons and cardinals) but aside from that nada.  Despite suggestions that we get the sailfin mollies outta there they're doing great - we woke up to 15 new fry yesterday (all in the QT tank now).  The loaches and Columbian Sharks 'play' - nope, the sharks aren't aggressive, and honestly in this tank the previous batch of fry grew and are now enjoying a new home.

The 'Angel' tank has settled down beautifully.  Except for losing one platy in childbirth it's been quiet, no fighting, none sick and even a few platy and molly fry growing well.  We do have 3 guppies who regularly give birth but I suspect they are simply providing a live food source as we've not seen one fry.  The guppies were adoptees and well, c'est la vie!

We've now started a small cichlid tank - yes, yes, we've got a bad case of MTS...lol - and as they grow they'll be moved to yet another 55 g tank.

So, thanks again for all your help!  Very much appreciated.
