pictures in signatures

I see some people have pictures in their signatures  
I have a nice graphic I would like to use in my signature line can some one please explain how this is done?
I have an IMG link I can put in... But it does not work.  
Is this something that has to be turned on by one of the admins here? Thanks..... T.C.

Nothing for the admins to do.  It seems to be working already.  There's a red maple leaf at far right of your signature.
