May 7th outage

after some of you reported issues in the May 6th thread, I took the site offline around 10pm to check the databases as I didn't want to risk more issues. It turned out to be a good thing. The server went crazy shortly after.

Our hosting company experienced issues with our server. We do not yet have all the details but I'll be following up with them today.

hehehe  that's usually how things go. Everything breaks at once or not at all.

OH Pierre in case no one said it lately, "Great job!" I am a network admin. been through the war. Usually don't hear from folks unless there is an issue... no one ever seemed to just come see me to say hello...
