Classified Ads

Dont mean to be rude, but I thought the classified ads was for-(Buy and Sell your fish, plants and aquatic equipment.)The lounge is more suited for this post, (A place to chat about everything except aquatic stuff.)

I don't agree...OVAS classified ads should remain a service offered to people (particularly its members) who may have articles of any decription for sale.  By placing ads for articles other that aquatic related items into the lounge, what you are then creating is another area for classified adds.  There's two courses of action in my opinion...leave the classifieds as is or create a sub-catagory in the classified section for articles other than hobby related.

A while back there was a long discussion on this subject and the consensus was that non-aquatic items should not be sold or bought in the classifieds but rather in the lounge.

I suppose we could create a new non-aquatic classifieds forum but it probably wouldn't get as much traffic as either the lounge or  the aquatic classifieds.

i also think this would be a great idea as lots of people seem to sell no aquatic stuff
