Replacing Eheim PRO II sealing gasket (filter head)

Does anyone have any experience on replacing the sealing gasket on the
above model???  Do I need to disemble the filter head?

Please give me some pointers.

Hi Sam , if it the gasket that seals the motor head to the cannister, it`s pretty straight forward.Take the old one off, fit the new one& make sure it is sitting flush in the small recess of the motor head , also make sure it is all seating on the same side of the new gasket, it is highly recommended to use some food grade silicone lubricant.

Thanks.....the new gasket just arrived (from BA online mail order) Friday past.
I will do it later today. I will also remember to smear silicone on the new one.
