Is it a good Idea to keep a pleco with African cichlids? if they're the same size as the cichlids?

i keep 2 BN plecos in a 90 with about 20 Africans. I got the BN's when they were about an inch and a half. Both are alive and doing extremely well.

I have a bushy nose in a 90g with a bunch of malawi and 2 other bushy noses in 65g malawi tank.  In the end it depends on the fish you have and how aggressive they are.

i have 69g with malawi cichlids , I got rid of the aggressive aeruteus male and female, the rest are just labs, acei, 2 rusties. I have lots of hiding spots. And just a lepard pleco or rubbernose ?
