Fish trap

I had to catch a Tang recently (he was picking my brain :P) so I decided to use a trap instead of destroying my tank.

I used a 2 litre water bottle, cutting off the top and inverting it inside the remaining part of the bottle. It's similar to a lobster trap. I drilled a hole on the side and stuck a suction cup in it so that I could attach it to the glass.

I put some seaweed into the trap and within 30 minutes he went for it. It helps if they're hungry to begin with. I didn't want to run the risk of him getting out so I sat there waiting and watching.

Please forgive the terrible photos. If anyone wants a better look at it let me know and I'll take a better picture.

I was walking down the street and a man was hammering on a roof top and he called me a Paranoid Little Weirdo. . . in morse code.

Nothing can ruin a nice setup quicker than crashing through it while trying to catch a rogue fish/invert :'(
