fluval 204 or aquaclear 70

I currently have a 55 gallon running with an aquaclear 70. Over at my parents house they have a fluval 204 and was wondering which one would be better for my tank? they are currently housing guppies and i was thinking to trade if it would benifit my tank more.

I have no experience with either but is this for a salt tank? If so, best to only use it to run carbon/ gfo or phosphate reducing media... will contribute to high nitrates if used in addition to LR.
