Oscars 2nd attempt at babies

Since there first bad spawn i moved them to a tank all my them selves in my 100 gallons they were all happy an then they spawned wendsday night about 200 egss they both were fanning an taking care of the eggs
but come thursday morning my one oscar is lying on its side all beat up an cut up ab the other one is still fanning so it makes me wonder if they are both female ?

then thursday night the other oscar abondened the eggs an they are now swimming togethor again with no aggresion im tempted to put my new male in with one to see the reaction an see if i do have 2 females

any one else here have any expierance breeding oscars ?

they all got fungus an slowly the snails ate them

Any success with the Oscar spawning?
My presumed pair seem to be doing a mating ritual and one is getting injured by the other.  Is this typical Oscar mating behaviour?

Long time no see
Is it the prseummed male that is gettting beat up or is it the female ???The pair that i have fight all the time they will be at oppisite ends an then out of the blue they both flare up an start liplocking each other, also if your O's are very young they are also trying to eastablish them selves to other oscar's pubiurty for fish ya could say lol . Mine still havnt had a successfull spawn yet

It's the presumed male biting the presumed female.  They're tail fanning at each other also.
They're approx. one year old.

All my oscars an other SA / CA  are doing great

the male I got from the SP in Kanata has grown another in ch an put on alot of bulk he is in excellent shape
my breeding pair though are still unsuccessfull they spawned last week but the female always chasses him away after they spawn buyt i dont have another tank to put him in

If you wanna get them to breed try turning up the Temp in the tank to about 82 or so that usally works for me
I would also love to see some pics of them

How big is the O now from SuperP Kanata?

The O from super pet is over a foot now an getting bigger as far as i can see lol ,He still charges the glass an shows his teeth to me everytime my GF an I walk into the room He is the O in my Avatar also lol


Your male is huge compared to your female how big is he

The male is between 10-11".
