Hello,

I've been in the hobby for about 2.5 months now and am treating my fish for their first case of ich.  I am using "Super Ich Cure".  I followed the directions on the package and added 1 tsp per 5 gallons (4 tsps for my 20 gallon aquarium) on Saturday after I noticed the white spots.  I just put in the second dose tonight (after 48 hours as per the instructions).  The white spots are not going away, should I be noticing a change by now?

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Vicki

ich has a 5 day living cycle.the parasites are not sensible to medication whn they are on the fish.its when they become free swimming that they are vulnerable.you should look into salt and heat method(a lot less stressful on your fish)

treat on day 1, 2 , 3 then every thrid day until no spots are visible for 5 days
