Wow, I'll have to try vinegar too.

So far the metal testing seems like its working.

I'm going to do a final check tonight and maybe start the placement.

I have cichlids and maybe a little limestone would be good for them but I still have to see what I may actually need.

I've been keeping these guys for almost 2 years now and have only been able to find various contradictive info on pH, hardness, nitrate and  phosphates.

Thankfully I've only had one disaterous event not at all related to chemical balances.
