How do I frag this without killin it and my tank?

First you need to get it off the rock. A piece of ice on the foot and some patience usually does the trick. Afterwards cut in half down the mouth ensuring you also cit the foot in half.

thats the easy part, how long before it heals, and what kind of dangers am I looking at? I don't have an other tank..

If it is a LTA, they are not so friendly to splitting them.
Splitting it could result in its death.
BTA's are suposably easily split but I have never done it before.
Did you see Anthony Calfo's presentation? You might want to google any information he may have provided in some forums.

He basically cut it in 1/2 (depending on size he said they can be split in 1/2, 1/3's or 1/4's) and put the separate sections in a small tank with carbon running on it. This was to allow the toxins released after first being cut to not end up effecting other corals. After a bit the sections combined and resulted in his case 2 separate anenome's

Redbelly would be able to help you as I know he used to split bta's

A nightmare and could nuke ur tank. Chemical warfare. U need to be running carbon, gfo, and what not, heavy skimming, lower light and water changes. . But nem farming is a common practice, and lots of money could be made.

Calfo mentioned you can start with 1 and at a year be at about 2000 bta's. At $20 each that can be alot of $$$

I had an LTA go down my overflow. During the water slide ride it's foot got a little tear in it. I decided to try splitting it. I got out a brand new Olfa razor blade and proceeded to cut the nem in half starting at the tear in the foot. After it was cut I put both halves in a perforated(using a drill) tupperware container(about an 8" cube) and attached it to the glass of my tank using a mag float magnet. I kept the top of the container slightly out of the water to prevent the escape of either of the critters. After about two weeks in isolation I put them back in the tank. Both halves are still healthy today. I did the split about 8 months ago.

I think I get the picture... I think ill pass on doing since I only have one tank and it's pretty full
