Sump Overflow Bubbles

So I was having more bubbles created then I wanted and it was causing about 10L of evaporation every day or 2.  More then I wanted.

So I was fooling around with plumbing bits that I had kicking around and came up with this contraption (See picture)  So far it has cut my bubbles by 90-95%. I have my waterlevel marked and I am going to see how long it takes to get to my refill level.

Anyone else have any creative idea's on how to reduce bubble generation from the overflow?

(Parts Include: 1 TEE, 3 90Degree Elbows, couple small coupler pieces of pipe.)

filter sock works wonders too.

yeah, I just didn't know how much it would impede flow, so I tried doing something with the piping I had before buying a sock.  haha.
