Shrimp Cocktail

OK in my upgrade lost my Pistol Tiger Shrimp that was paired with a Pink/Blue Shrimp Gobie that is 3" - 3.5" long now. Yesterday got a replacement a Candy Stripe Pistol Shrimp. After a couple hours acclimating netted him from the bag and moved to the bottom then released him. He swam over to small rock covered with Sun Coral. The Gobie swam out and I figured he was coming to meet him but he was coming to eat him! He open his mouth and took the entire shrimp all but a tiny bit of tail into his mouth than darted into his cave. I looked in and saw the shrimp in his mouth with the tiny bit of tail sticking out. That was one damn expensive snack for him! 

Is there an off chance he survived? I will watch of course but highly doubt it.

^crappy news dan. randalls goby can only be paired with smaller gobys (unless they are fully grown candy canes) - yasha haze, red banded, gobys are what you want for them, or ones that max out at like 2.5''... that pink/blue of yours is a big boy.

you'll deff need a bigger pistol.
