Upgrading filtration.

I am thinking of upgrading the filtration on my two biggest tanks. They both house goldfish and are 110 and 60gallons.

I was thinking that since I have plans of buying another 110gal tank I could use a common sump that doubles as a wet/dry filter for them all (I would make the wet/dry filter myself).  I would then run the water through a Ocean Clear 375 (UV sterilizer/mechanical filter) and then back to the three tanks.

I realize the cost involved in this upgrade would be high but I think if I'm dedicated to the hobby I might as well go ahead and do it as I love crystal clear water. Would running all the water through the ocean clear filter be a problem?

Any thoughts would be most appreciated,
SAM

PS: I know many of you do not take goldfish seriously. I have chosen them and I have never questioned that decision.[/b]

Gold fish are fish. and if you love them thats GREAT!!! i love all fish..

and as too your question:

buy a 90gal thats all you need.. for the 2 systems.. reason i say 90 is the 24" hieght..

then get Acrylic from home depot and build 1 wet/dry box that slides in the 90gal and fill that with bioballs. (or buy a wet/dry tower.

and just out side of your wet/dry tower add your heaters. this way it elimenates stuff from main tanks. then get  a fair sized return pump.. if you going internal go a big mag pump and plumb both tank with appropriate sized PVC/ABS.

and you should be good to go.. aswell as adding more water volume to both setups improve water quality..

take care and good luck!!
