Hey all,

As some of you know from my other thread, "Aquariums and the lights you need" I was looking heavily into lights. I ran across this website on my journeys on the World Wide Web...

http://www.americanaquariumproducts.com/Aquarium_Lighting.html

And... its pretty in depth, seems to be fairly knowledgable, thought I would share it

Seems Watts per Gal. might not be the end all be all. I only started looking into this more when I went to La Niche yesterday and Marc (Manager there) had a beautiful Planted Freshwater tank with one of the Marineland Double Bright LED's above it, and he endorsed them saying it would be a good addition to a low-med. light plant to para-phrase our 45 minute chat, so I figured I'd share this link, as it kinda backs him up!

Cheers!

Edit

I am not sure if this article is biased or what, looking for thoughts, and... its a very long article, so grab a coffee and put on some music and read!  ::)
