Homepage issues?

Is anyone having issues getting to the ovas homepage? I keep getting timed out by Firefox and IE.  Works fine on my iPhone.

I have had problems on and off for a while, but lately it seems to be down.  Only way to get in the forum is from the history for me.  I use IE8

Timed out a couple of times yesterday. I'm using the Beta version of IE9. I thought it was the browser - not a fan so far.

Individual pages come up no problem...  http://ovas.ca/ovas/?p=865 ; Clicking the home button from the OVAS Christmas Banquet page works fine.

home button doesnt work for me, gives me the blank page.  It sounds like a glitch on the server and a provider problem.

I have seen this happen before.. I think you are running Wordpress? 

There was a worm that went around before that infected wordpress scripts using an exploit.. might want to check / reload script files and try that?

It seems to come and go.  I've enabled some caching on the wordpress pages, so when you do get in it displays faster now.

I don't think it's the worm as we are running the most recent version of WordPress which I understand isn't vulnerable to that.

I get the occasional time-outs (last one just before your opening this thread). I haven't paid attention to what particular pages, though the last one was definitely the front page. (Firefox 3)

I was having lots of time outs yesterday as well, and the front page wouldn't
load either. Thought it was my server though?

Irionically, my problem with the homepage is that I get sent there sometimes when I don't want to be.  Seems to be that sometimes when I "mark all messages as read", I get sent to the home page.

Yes, I've noticed that was well.  It happens when you display the new posts, look at some of them and then check the mark all message as read box.  To incorporate the new homepage into the forum, I had to hack a bit of the php code to get the homepage to be part of the site.  This is one of those things that still need to be fixed - someday.....

Had not logged in for a bit and when I did got a blank white page - using latest Firefox and this system recently reinstalled so basically a clean system. After I hit F5 the page loaded.
