My cherry shrimp have thrown off some strange colorations, such as a few solid blacks and marbled black/reds but now I've just noticed a bright red one with an pinkish-orange skunk striped, from her head to the tip of her tail. It isn't her saddle, either. Does anyone else get interesting combinations?

Some of my very mature females get that stripe - they are pretty little things.

yup i just bought some and they developed orange lines down their backs from the head to the tip of the tail. not sure why this happened after i got them. from what i have read, it is a genetic difference/maturity thing.

Fishnut

Yup...perfectly normal!  I like it!

Some of my females have them too. :)
