Comet trying to nip Lionheads butt??

Well, thats what it looks like anyway.  The comet is the same size if not smaller then my lionhead. Could this be mating behaviour?? Lionhead runs, and he chases her. Only started happening about a week ago.

It might sound like a silly question - but how does the male go about fertilizing the females eggs? Does he actually have to mount her? :oops:

Ok - they are DEFINITELY doing the mating dance. I watched a clip of other mating goldies. Same behaviour.
