In the past i have posted some of my experiences of the resilience of the small but mighty Cherry Shrimp, the last was after draining my 59 gallon tank & leaving it with no water above the eco complete substrate only patches of wet areas from water below the substrate, after an extensive period low & behold there was a few Cherry shrimp walking around the tank.
Well after thatsightingg, i noticed a cherry shrimp darting around my gold fish tank, i had put some plants in that tank as a holding tank while i got the 79 gln set up & was once again surprised it survived the jaws of the gold fish crew, well today i was moving stuff around &discoveredd a colony of Cherry shrimpexistingg with the 4 Gold fish, these guys continue to amaze me.

I agree! I had to completley empty a 90 a few weeks ago, so that I could seal in a divider. Well after 48 hours completley out of water and only living in wet gravel, there they were. Hundreds of cherry shrimp survived for 2 days in wet rocks!  :) :)
