I have a 25 gal tall.heavily planted with 65w of CF lighting. I have been doing my ferts using the ei method, but I want to stop using my DIY CO2. How should I dose now? Currently its macros and traces rotated each day with a 50% wc on Monday.

You would be more concerned about your light intensity if you decide to go without CO2. It will be too much, so no matter how you dose, problems are likely to occur.

^agreed, the lighting is more in line with a med range intensity, I would aim for 40w max, from a standard non HO bulb. Then switch to once a week dosing, or once every two weeks...

1/4 Teaspoon of equilibrium
1/8 Teaspoon of KNO3
1/32 Teaspoon of KH2PO4

I have been watching this guy on YouTube, dustinsfishtanks, and he runs high light without co2, but has dirted tanks. He doesn't have that many fish so I was wondering why it works.

I haven't seen this guy's setups but it's not a new concept, look up Walstad, dirted tanks have been around for a long time. I have a dirted tank, with ada aquasoil, and there are many nutrients already available in this kind of substrate, but there will always be one limiting factor; be it light, CO2 or ferts. Around that anybody can make a balanced planted tank, that's the key to any successful PT - balance. I've chosen my limiting factor to be lighting. I find that to be the least problematic approach.
