I'm going for sure and I'm pretty sure Dan (DaWolfe) is going as well.
We should plan something and get together all of us, maybe car pooling as well.

Would be nice to also have our golf shirts ready to promote out club  ;)

The other link is the Montreal English club.  There is also a link on that page to La Sam.

Hey,
Just got back from the auction in Montreal.
Kudos to the people at La Sam who put on a great auction and welcomed us.
We were cashed out and on our way home by 5:30pm.
They used a new scanner system that looked very efficient.
Evelyn and her family were there.
Funny thing was they clapped just about every time one  of her Discus sold.
I bought some petrified wood.
My brother Ed won the big prize.  The big equipped aquarium.
I forgot my camera at home or there would have been pictures.

Great auction, fast and this time I understood more of the numbers except the big number on the door prize draws and when the price went over $70.00 in french. Got home when I could still see without lights.
Hardware went for a good price and the fish also got a good $$ ,but the plants went a little lower, about $5.00 average. Still not bad. Bought some black round plastic tube mess for shrimp and took home the big
prize.  Thanks to the Montreal club that gets better ever auction by adding new way of logging in items (bar code) and labels for the items and also the big screen to see what items is coming up next to sell.

Wow, I was amazed at how efficiently SAM had their auction run.  This was my first time there and was very impressed with how everything went.  The large screen really helped letting everyone know what was coming up and what was currently being auctioned.  Everyone was very friendly and my boys got to enjoy some home made treats...the best part of the trip according to them.  Nice area too as I was able to spend some time outside with the kids while my hubby took in the "fishy auction experience."

My thanks to SAM for having us.  It was great and look forward to the next one. ;D
